 Welcome to NSN Austin!!!
On behalf of the Austin Chapter of National Sales Network, I would like to welcome you to the premiere organization for African-American sales professionals. I would like to thank all of our members and sponsors for your continued support as I enter my 2nd year as the Austin Chapter President.
Our mission is to meet the professional and developmental needs of African-American sales representatives and sales management professionals.
We look forward to your involvement locally, and nationally in the 2010 Annual NSN National Conference & Career Fair. The conference will take place August 4-7th at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort in Orlando, FL. During these challenging economic times, we encourage you to take advantage of the largest U.S. Sales Diversity Career Fair and educational conference.
I would like to invite you to our “Success” and “Growth” experience seminars, which are held bi-monthly by the Austin chapter. Our seminars focus on the following key concepts:

• Job Search
• Time Management
• Organization Skills
• Career Management
Why pursue a career in sales? Companies need to make sales in order to survive, therefore sales people are generally in high demand. Many people like the control and job security a sales role can provide. Additionally, many parlay a sales role into a management role. Our organization seeks to help people strengthen their transferrable skills and allow them to grow with their employers.
In 2010, we will continue with additional programs devoted to your career development. Our “Connection Experience” seminars serve as an opportunity for our members to network with and learn more about our key sponsors. As we begin this New Year, I would like to thank our 2010 local sponsor Dell, Inc.
