The Austin chapter of NSN was started in January of 2008.  The creation of the Austin chapter was spearheaded by several local sales executives with Dell and IBM and the national office of NSN.  After many of those Austinite’s attended the National Conference in Dallas, the Austin chapter really began to take off.  Austin’s very first event was a networking mixer with over 40 attendees and 2010 saw a record number of events and members for Austin.

The Austin chapter while relatively new has grown each year of its existence.  Our goal in Austin is to tap into the burgeoning market of African-American professionals in the Austin area to provide leadership training, networking opportunities, career growth strategies, and community involvement.  With special thanks to our local chapter platinum sponsor Dell Inc., the Austin chapter is looking forward to continued growth.
